By default, reciProfity leaves Count Sheet fields blank (null). If you don’t enter a value for a product, its On Hand quantity stays the same. This can lead to inaccurate inventory if some products aren’t counted.
Enabling Zero Counts resets all products and prep recipes to zero when you start a new Count Sheet. This ensures that only items you physically count will have a value, giving you an accurate On Hand total.
How To Enable Zero Counts
- Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
- Select Setup, then click Options.
- Scroll to the Counts section.
- Check the Enable Zero Counts box.
- Scroll down and click Save.
Result:
- When you open a new Count Sheet, all unit fields are pre-filled with zero.
- If you add a product to a Location or Sub-Location on the fly, it is also initialized with zero.
