Why it's important
- The Shopping cart allows you to stage products you want to order in one place. reciProfity will then create PO's based on lowest price or by vendor. Or let reciProfity choose the lowest price or Preferred Product.

Keep the cart open while you pursue other functions (create requisitions, take counts etc). Products can be added to the cart from requisitions and counts.

When you Submit the cart it will create individual PO's for each vendor.
How to do it
- The Shopping Cart icon is located at the top of the screen and is always available:
- Click the cart to open and a pop up Shopping Cart will appear:
- Begin typing in the products or item codes you want to order and choose from the list.
You can create a Preferred Product. reciProfity will automatically choose that product for you when you are ready to create PO's and click the Optimize button
A green thumbs up indicates a Preferred Product.
If the same product is available from mutliple vendors or the same vendor packed differently there will be a Select pull down.
The number next to cart displays the contents of your cart.
You can open the cart at any time and keep adding products.
How to use the -Select- pull down
- Once you have finished your Shopping Cart and you are ready to Create PO's
You have 2 options:
- Click the Optimize button on the bottom of the shopping cart screen. reciProfity will automatically choose the lowest price between products or any Preferred Products.
OR - Manually click on Select to choose the lower priced product. If this item in packed differently you may need to adjust the quantity accordingly.
Remember: A green thumbs up will indicate Preferred Vendor or lowest price.
Creating PO's
When you are ready to place your orders and create PO's click
and reciProfity will create individual PO's for each vendor.
The Shopping Cart is now cleared for your next ordering cycle.
