The Ideal Usage Report shows your outgoing inventory transactions. It helps you track inventory depletion based on sales, requisitions, and prep recipe usage.
You can use the Ideal Usage Report to:
- Review recipe quantities and serving sizes
- Justify or reconcile physical counts of inventory items
What the Report Includes
- All inventory depletions from Sales and Requisitions
- Ingredients used in Prep Recipes, treated like inventory used when selling recipes
- See the Prep Build documentation for more details.
- If Explode Prep Recipes is ON, nested prep recipes break down into individual ingredients for usage tracking. If OFF, prep recipes remain intact.
