Before inviting New Users set Rights/User Groups:
The Account Owner (the person who purchased reciProfity) has Rights to all the functions of the program.
You may have other users who access the software. But you may NOT want them to access everything, or edit everything.
In order to do this each user must have their own logon. That's how reciProfity will know which Rights each user has.
A note about the Admin Rights - the account owner has Rights to ALL functions. The account owner can give Admin Rights to a user, but those user Rights will NOT include creating User Groups or Managing Units. This is to protect the owners Rights.
If you only want the user to have the Rights to read and print recipes and NOTHING else then chooses Digital Recipe Book.
If you want the user to have other Rights then see below:
Creating User Groups and Rights
You should create Rights/User Groups before adding new users. Do this in the MAIN UNIT
1. Click the Gear icon on the top right of the screen.
Click Manage users
Click User Groups
2. Click New User Group
3. Give this User Group a name and then Click the down arrow next to Abilities
4.Click next to each Right you WANT the new user be able to access
If you want that user to have most rights sometimes it's easier to click Select All and then UNcheck the ones you don't want them to have!
If you have already invited new users
Click here for instructions to link them to their Rights and assign them to a Unit/Profit Center
If you have NOT already invited new users
Click the Gear icon/ Manager Users & Units/ Users & Connections
And you will see a box on the right with the number of User Connections you have purchased.
Now invite those new Users/Connectors to join reciProfity by clicking the +New User button

When that user receives and accepts the Invitation email they will appear in the Users section
Connect the new user with a Unit/Profit Center and User Group
If you purchased multiple units/profit centers and have not yet set up your Units follow these directions.
If you only have one Unit/Profit Center or have already set up your additional Units/ Profity Centers you can now associate those Users/Connectors with the Units/Profit Centers you want them to have access to.
For example you want to associate gm@mailinator with both the gm Rights and whatever Units/Profit Centers you have purchased you would do this from the MAIN UNIT.
From the MAIN UNIT click on the email address of the Users/Connector. That will bring you to the Edit User screen.
Pull down the User Group to choose the Rights you want that user to have.
Pull down the User Connections to choose the Units/Profit Centers for that user to have access to.
