If your unit operates outside of Eastern Standard Time (EST), it’s important to set the correct time zone in reciProfity. This ensures that Production Order dates, like Order Received Date, Order Production Date, and Order Shipped Date, are based on your unit’s local time, not your browser or personal device time.
For example, if you’re traveling from New York to California and submit an order at 10 PM PST, reciProfity will correctly register it as 1 AM EST the next day—as long as your unit’s time zone is set properly.
How to Set the Time Zone
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
- Click Setup.
Under Setup, click Options.
On the left-side of the screen under Settings, click Location.
- Use the dropdown to select the correct time zone that matches your unit’s location.
- Click the green Save icon to apply your changes.
What This Affects
Once set, the unit’s time zone will be used to display:
- Dates in the Production Orders grid
- Dates on the Orders screen
- Any other screens tied to production scheduling
Note: UTC timestamps will still be recorded for audit purposes, but the displayed dates will reflect your unit’s local time.
