By default, reciProfity does not allow broken cases, meaning products must be received in full-case quantities. However, some vendors allow you to split cases and receive items individually. If that’s the case, you can enable the Broken Case Allowed global setting. This lets you receive products by either the case or the individual unit, depending on how they arrive.
How To Allow Broken Case Receiving
To change the default setting and allow broken cases in reciProfity:
- Click the Gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen and:
- Select Setup and choose Options. - Under settings, in the left sidebar, choose Inventory Items.
- Enable Broken Case Receiving
- Click the Broken Case Allowed toggle to enable it. - Apply to Existing Products (Optional)
- If you already have items set to “No,” click [Apply this setting to all existing products: No] to change them to “Yes.” - Click the green
button to confirm.
