Identifying Products Without Locations

All products must be assigned to a Location to appear on Count Sheets and have their On Hand values adjusted during a physical count. Use the steps below to find products missing a Location and assign them as needed.

How To Find Products Missing a Location

1. Click the hamburger menu in the top-left corner.
   
   
2. Expand Manage Inventory and select Counts.
   
   
   
3. On the Counts page, click the Products icon.
   
   
   
4. Toggle the Show Products Without Locations button to ON.
   
   
   • Products without a Location will appear. These items do not show on Count Sheets.
     
     
5. To search for a specific product, use the Filter Products field.
   • Leave the field blank to display all products and prep recipes without a Location.
     
     
6. In the right-hand pane, open the Select Location drop-down and choose a Location.
7. Click the (add) icon to assign the product or prep recipe to that Location.
   
   
8. To remove a product from a Location, click the (remove) icon.

 

Exclude Products That Don’t Need to Be Counted

If you have products that should not appear on Count Sheets (e.g., cleaning supplies):

1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
   
   
2. Select Setup, then click Groups.
   
   
   
3. Open the group name to edit.
   
   
4. Clear the Location Required checkbox.
   
   
5. Click Save to keep your changes.
