Task Manager displays all information related to scheduled tasks. You can access it from the hamburger icon in the upper left corner of the screen and selecting Task Manager.
You can also access it from the Recipe Share page.
Understanding the Task Manager Interface
Task Manager shows licensed features, completed tasks, and upcoming tasks. You can toggle between Recent Tasks and Upcoming Tasks using the buttons at the top of the screen.
- Recent Tasks: Displays completed tasks, including their status. Any errors will appear in the Issues column.
- Upcoming Tasks: Shows the next scheduled tasks in the queue.
Task Manager consolidates all automated imports, exports, and Recipe Shares into one screen, eliminating the need to click through multiple pages.
Setting Up Alerts
Alerts notify users via email when tasks are completed or fail.
To configure alerts:
- Click the Alerts button in Task Manager.
- Choose the Task Type, enter the Email Address, and select the Alert Type (On Task Complete and/or On Task Failure).
- Check the Active box to enable the alert, then click Save.
Alerts can be scheduled down to the minute and sent to multiple users. They support conditional triggers like low margins, out-of-stock items, or cashier activity.
