Create a Prep recipe for your ice cream.
1. The yield will be the actual yield of the prep. For example if you are making a gallon of ice cream your yield will be 1 gal:
2. Then within the Prep recipe use the Conversions box to convert the gallon to scoops! This tells us how to price the scoops in your serving recipe.
In this example there are 16 #8 scoops per gal:
Create a Serving Recipe:
Save your Prep recipe and Create a Serving recipe and enter the scoop that you used above. In this case it was a #8 scoop and the Prep recipe for the ice cream.
You will now have the price for a scoop!
