The Recipe Manager is where you tell reciProfity how you put your ingredients together to create items which you serve to your guests. reciProfity then calculates the exact price of each recipe based on the data you entered in your Ingredients section and suggests a sales price based on your target food cost.
Select Recipes from the left-hand menu bar
The Recipe Manager shows a list of all your recipes, their food costs, pricing details, and warnings about any issues [link to ISSUES] with your data.

Entering New Recipes
Click “New Recipe+”.
reciProfity supports three different types of recipes. You'll enter each type slightly differently. Start with service recipes below, continue through the other recipe types, then begin inputting your own recipes.
-Service Recipes [link to SERVICE RECIPES] are what you sell directly to your guests.
Examples: bacon cheeseburger, carafe of red wine, bowl of French onion soup
-Prep Recipes [link to PREP RECIPES] don't get sold, but are used as ingredients in Service Recipes.
Examples: brown veal stock, chipotle aioli, 50 gallons of French onion soup
-Menu Recipes [link to MENU RECIPES] are collections of service recipes.
Examples: catering menus, prix fixe menus, and private dining with set menus
